Steam boiler

1KEP-160/0,4 electrode steam boiler (as well as its modifications 1KEP-200/0,4 and 1KEP-250/0,4) are designed to produce saturated steam. The steam is fed from the boiler to the steam accumulator from which it is then extracted to take part in the preexpansion or final molding process.

These steam generators offer several advantages over their counterparts on the Russian market:

• water resistivity ranging from 1600 to 6400 Ω/cm at 20 ^oC;
• given power and pressure maintenance is provided for by automatic control system;
• boiler starting operation begins in 15-20 minutes;
• packaged design including steam generator, supply tank, pump assembly, pipelines, automatic control system instrumentation;
• tilting control panel facilitates access to the automatic control system instrumentation;
• the boiler is easy to assemble and maintain.
